Best HIIT workout equipment & gear

Over the years, we have done thousands of HIIT workouts and have found we keep coming back to certain equipment and products. We have discovered that the following products best complement our HIIT training:

  1. Polar H10 HRM: this bluetooth heart rate monitor has been a reliable workhorse for us. It is an accurate and effective chest strap based HR monitor that we love using during high intensity workouts using the free Workout Trainer app.
  2. Rep Fitness Adjustable Dumbbells: these are our go-to adjustable dumbbells, which allow us to do a variety of HIIT dumbbell exercises in the comfort of your home, big or small. Having lived in San Francisco for many years, it's very nice to be able to create a small gym in a tight space.
  3. The ultra grippy Jade Yoga Harmony Mat and the cushiony Lululemon 5mm Mat have been our go-to's for all our bodyweight HIIT workouts. It really makes a difference when you create a non-slip space for you to put in the effort on!
