About Me

In 2013, Nick was admitted to hospital, unconscious and weighing 20stone. The culmination of a 13 yr battle with Sarcoidosis, a little known auto immunity condition which can, in extreme cases, travel systematically through the body, restricting functionality of major organs including heart, lungs, eyes and brain. After his wife was told to prepare to say goodbye to her husband of just 15 months, Nick, with amazing help from the teams at Furness General and Royal Preston Hospitals managed to leave hospital on 7 Jan 14 with new inspiration to grab his second chance and fight back....8 Stone lighter in 2018, he qualified as a Personal Trainer, just one his many personal goals achieved and committed his future to help and inspire others to make similar changes
