Workout Wisdom of the day-there is no spot reducing. In order to lose body fat, you must take in less calories than you use. It's that simple. Targeted workouts may help in building specific muscle groups but will not cause you to lose fat in those areas.

I struggle with arthritis on the spine, scoliosis, and bulging/compressed dics. Broken tibia and knee and foot issues from a car accident. Age, pain, and inactivity lead to weight gain. I need to get healthy before it leads to other health issues. Help!

Workout wisdom for a healthy back: Your disks fill up with fluid overnight and are more susceptible to herniation. Use caution with stressful workouts in the early morning, and warm up first.

A word to the wise: If you have a shoulder impingement or are over 40, avoid behind the neck press, btn pull downs, btn pull ups, and side lateral raises where you are pouring the cup. Avoid a torn rotator cuff!

Remember i said i just came off a distal bicep tendonitis.I am back to push ups little sore but sdoc said keep working throu g h it.Now once we start do youhave any ideas how to treat it for long term and i know i am starting at lower weights but i didnt lose my strength.Still feel some weakness in the arm but i was told it the strength will come back

my problem area is in right knee .On prolonged walking or fast walking l start feeling tightness in lateral part of lower leg outside fibula head .Can you suggest ways to improve my knee.I dont recall having any particular knee injury.I was absolutely fine six mths before.
