Calories on Apple Watch

Hi, I have my Apple Watch synced with this app and I feel like the app undercounts calories significantly. I just did a 27 minute HIIT workout and only burned 112 calories. Normally, I burn that with 15 minutes on a stationary bike, but this workout was way more intense. I double checked my weight in the app and everything seems right. Does anyone else notice calorie count being lower using this app?
