Start in a standing position with feet close together and hands together in front of your chest or on your hips. Step your left leg behind you and to the right, crossing your thighs. Lunge, bending both knees. Return to standing. Next, step your right leg behind you to the left, lunging again. Repeat, alternating the trailing leg.
