Heartsaver® CPR AED is a classroom, video-based, instructor-led course that teaches adult CPR and AED use, as well as how to relieve choking on an adult. This course teaches skills with AHA’s research-proven Practice-While-Watching (PWW) technique.
This course provides the cognitive and skills evaluations in accordance with the curriculum of the AHA Basic Life Support Program.
The AHA worked with leading CPR scientists and medical professionals to develop a course designed to meet OSHA requirements and teaches basic first aid, cardiopulmonary resuscitation & automated external defibrillator skills such as giving CPR.
