Ryan Saranchuk |
Ryan Saranchuk began personal training in university and has been involved in health and wellness for over 20 years. A graduate of the University of Alberta, with a degree in Physical Education and a Masters in Exercise Physiology, Ryan began his career in the fitness industry with an academic slant. His research on endurance training adaptations has been published in the American Journal of Physiology, and he has presented his findings across Canada. Ryan has an extensive knowledge of exercise science and has experience instructing courses in Exercise Physiology, Advanced Exercise Program Design, Applied Resistance Training, and Anatomy. He has also guest lectured on Endurance Training Techniques and Metabolic Training at various universities. His background in sports started with hockey and rugby where he competed at the collegiate and national levels respectively. He then made the switch over to competing as a cyclist both on the road and the track. Using this vast experience, Ryan has helped everyone from weekend warriors to fitness enthusiasts to professional athletes all reach and exceed their goals!
